Old Sears Dressers

So my husband Jeff was working on some remodeling on a house for some clients. They had these 2 old Sears Dressers that they were thinking of throwing away. He brought them back to the studio to redo them for my mom. Originally they had a painted finish that had painted wood grain, they were pretty basic and ugly. Once we stripped all the paint off we were pleasantly surprised with the wood grain and design we found. We applied a natural stain which just made each piece of wood pop. Applied 3 coats of laquer finish. Just shows that old furniture can be a hidden jewel that needs a little luv.
